UK, the Crafts Council serves crafts practitioners and the
public. There are a number of professional development events,
initiatives and opportunities run by the Crafts Council, including
travel grants for research trips abroad, and bursaries to
help exhibit at shows. The Crafts Council holds a National
Register of Makers, which contains contact information for
more than 4,000 UK Craftspeople.
